Description:

The Spirax Sarco FT14 float and thermostatic steam trap is available in 1/2, 3/4, 1 HC, 1-1/2, and 2 inch sizes. Smaller sizes feature ductile iron bodies, while 1-1/2 and 2 inch models use cast iron construction. All sizes include stainless steel internals and are rated for pressures up to 200 PSIG, with options for 65, 145, and 200 PSIG service. The FT14 is available with optional combination air vent and steam lock release.

 

Designed with in line connections, the FT14 allows internal servicing without removing the trap from the line. Its float valve continuously discharges condensate at steam temperature, while a balanced pressure thermostatic air vent removes non condensable gases. Typical applications include process equipment with modulating control valves, unit heaters, air heating coils, heat exchangers, and steam main drip service.
