Pyrex Annular Edge Glass is no longer available due to the shutdown of Corning's Sunderland plant. The only replacement is Maxos® molded circles, made from borosilicate 8488 glass, offering superior quality. Maxos® features a uniform 3/4" thickness, compared to Pyrex®'s 5/8", providing extra safety. The molding process ensures outstanding optical clarity and greater thermal shock resistance. Maxos® glass is tested to withstand 8 times its rated pressure, ensuring maximum safety for boiler operators.
