Description:

IB Series Inverted Bucket Steam Traps are designed for drip and tracer applications, effectively removing condensate from steam mains and supply lines. With the discharge orifice at the top of the trap body, they resist dirt and debris better than other trap types. While limited in air-handling capability, they can be used on unit heaters, laundry equipment, and certain process applications where slow start-up is acceptable.

 

Watson McDaniel models 1031, 1041, 1032, and 1042 are available in ½", ¾", and 1" sizes with various capacity ranges. When fitted with a check valve, inverted bucket traps can handle superheated steam. Rugged construction ensures efficient operation, minimal maintenance, and long service life.
