The Spirax Sarco FT150 and FT200 float and thermostatic steam traps provide continuous condensate discharge at steam temperature while a balanced pressure thermostatic air vent removes non condensable gases. They are commonly used on process equipment with modulating temperature control valves, as well as unit heaters, air heating coils, heat exchangers, and steam main drip stations.
These traps should be installed below the drainage point with proper isolation and upstream straining for reliable operation. The FT150 is rated for 150 PSIG and the FT200 for 200 PSIG, with a maximum operating temperature of 450°F. Available in 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, and 1-1/2 inch sizes, both models feature cast iron bodies with stainless steel internals and optional gauge glass and vacuum breaker accessories.
