Fruehauf Viewports Threaded Gate View Ports are available in cast iron, stainless steel, and carbon steel upon request. These viewports feature a stainless steel slide arrangement in the blast gate, providing added protection and extending the lens's life during operation. This design also allows for safer maintenance during vessel downtime.
For additional cooling, a purge connection can be added, positioned on either the glass or vessel side of the blast gate housing. The standard purge is at the 3 o’clock position, with alternative placements available upon request.
Thread sizes range from 2 inches to 6 inches NPT threaded openings.
