The Watson McDaniel WD600 thermodynamic steam trap is used as a drip trap on steam mains and supply lines, with suitability for outdoor, freeze prone, and superheated steam applications. It automatically removes condensate and air and is commonly used on high pressure drips, pressing machines, steam tracing, tanks, dryers, and industrial process equipment.
The WD600 features a hardened stainless steel body and internals for durability in demanding conditions, with maximum operating limits of 600 PSI and 800°F. Designed for freeze resistant installations, this trap is not weldable and is not available with socket weld connections.
