Grafoil® gage glass washers are manufactured from flexible graphite (Thermafoil Grade B) with a minimum purity level of 96% and are designed to deliver high-performance sealing in boiler sight-glass and high-pressure liquid-level gauge assemblies. These washers are rated for continuous use at temperatures up to approximately 975 °F and pressures up to 650 psi, and provide excellent chemical resistance across a broad range of service environments. They are available in various standard sizes to fit common gauge glass assemblies and are packaged in dozen-packs for maintenance convenience. Prior to installation, ensure the sealing surfaces are clean, flat, and free of corrosion or pitting; always replace the washer whenever the gauge glass or mounting components are removed to maintain leak integrity.
