Brass and Stainless Steel Gauge Glass Nuts
Brass and stainless steel gauge glass nuts are used to secure sight-glass assemblies and liquid-level glass tubes in boiler systems, providing a durable connection between the glass and gauge body. Brass nuts offer good corrosion resistance and cost-effective performance in standard service conditions, while stainless steel nuts provide superior strength, resistance to high temperature and aggressive environments. It is important to match the correct nut size and thread to the gauge assembly, inspect the sealing surfaces for any pitting or wear, and replace the nut any time the glass is removed to maintain a reliable, leak-resistant seal.
