Aurora (Pentair) can no longer furnished any 340 series pumps. These pumps have been replaced with the new 3800 series pump, 3801 for the closed coupled replacing the 341 series, and the 3804 replacing the 344 flex coupled series.
Most of the new pump sizes are the same as the old 340 size pumps, or very close to it, so 90% of the time, no piping changes will need to be made. This new line of pumps will have standard stainless steel impeller and stainless steel shaft sleeves. The mechanical seal and casings will remain the same as previous 340 series pumps.
