Armstrong Motor Mounted Pumps for Boiler Feed, Circulating, and Hydronic Systems Armstrong motor mounted pumps are ideal for cooling towers, HVAC, and general purpose applications. Armstrong motor mounted pumps have features that ensure performance excellence. With the Armstrong 4270, there is no need to disconnect the pipes while servicing the pump due to the radially-split volute. The motor, with bracket and impeller attached, can be easily withdrawn from the volute after moving the volute capscrews. These pumps are available in 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2" sizes.
